Position: Full-time, Flexibility required

  • Pet passionate individual with a minimum 3 years’ experience in the veterinary sales market or veterinary care environment (or very similar market)

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.

  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business.

  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling.

  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports as needed.

  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current customer needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, utilizing product demos and presentations both in person and via zoom and similar platforms.

  • Coordinate and work as a team with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met.

  • Competency in customer care and understanding of seamless service and customer satisfaction required.

 

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of the Veterinary Industry (minimum of the 3 years veterinary clinic experience)

  • Education as a certified veterinary technician, or in biology, or similar educational background is required, unless a proven record as a veterinary sales professional is already established

  • Bachelor’s degree in the fields of biology, animal science, or related preferred

  • Demonstrated computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and general, but proficient computer navigation)

  • Familiarity with and ability to quickly learn, if needed, new skills such as the use of iPhone capabilities and the use of App’s for communication and reporting

  • Basic professional writing skills and effective and professional verbal communication skills are a must

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM

  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism

  • Ability to multi-task, while meeting sales goals and business needs

Objectives of this Role
  • Represent our company’s products and services to the veterinary market by educating the in-clinic/hospital veterinary team

  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics

 
What your typical day might be like:

We aren’t typical! We work with veterinary professionals that have various hours, so we try to accommodate this changing dynamic in our own schedules. Yes, this is a full-time position, but you will need to be flexible to get what needs to be done when your customer is available. However, this is also an added benefit, as you create the schedule that works best for you, your potential customers, and business needs – as long as you are meeting or exceeding expectations. For our work environment to remain flexible and effective, it requires strong work ethic, reliability, and a person of trustworthy character because you will be building your schedule and territory while representing our Bionote brand. While you will work mostly on your own once trained, you will work closely with remote colleagues, and report to small internal team. You will report directly to our National Sales manager, or a regional manager, as assigned, depending upon your territory.

Position Summary / Purpose:

Provide regulatory support for Bionote USA diagnostic products in the human and veterinary sectors by meeting all state, local, federal, international, and industrial regulations that apply to our products.  Prepare regulatory documents for the US Department of Agriculture’s Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB), interacting directly with regulatory agencies such as USDA, CVB, (possibly future FDA), including management of all regulatory files electronically and paper filing.

Daily and Essential Responsibilities
  • Management of electronic and paper filing system.

  • Preparation and submission of regulatory documents through the USDA-CVB electronic portal or other electronic means.

  • Management of company’s quality documents.

  • Direct Interaction with international colleagues to manage document change control. 

  • Support International Registrations as it relates to product changes and/or new product launches.

  • Communicate efficiently and clearly to company leadership all regulatory information on a regular basis – reports/email/verbal/written.

  • Standardize and establish clearly documented protocols for regulations in the US.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of new and existing USDA, CVB and any other government related regulations that may impact our products and processes.

  • Effectively communicate regulations, procedures, and policies as necessary.

  • Recommend courses of remediation to help achieve the necessary levels of compliance.

  • Regularly reporting on compliance status and measures to both internal and external parties.

  • Prepare and facilitate third-party audits as necessary.

  • Act as a liaison between Bionote and state, local, federal, and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork.

  • Collect and analyze data to identify patterns and potential liabilities. 

 

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:
  • Degree in administrative or biological sciences or relatable field (eg. English major with technical writing expertise willing to complete training)

  • Experience in regulatory affairs/compliance role (Preferred) 

  • Keen attention to detail is critical due to processes and protocols required  

  • Familiarity with QA/QC systems (Preferred)

  • Effective/Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office software proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Skill in learning new systems and processes

  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and simultaneously

  • Analytical skills to help identify patterns and potential liabilities

  • Experience with, and ability to convey regulatory compliance information in an understandable way 

  • Proficiency in English and Korean for effective communication and contextual interpretation

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

  • Ability to problem solve to reach optimum outcomes for Company
