Equine T4
Thyroxine (T4) is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland in horses to help regulate metabolism and energy balance. The Vcheck Equine T4 test allows equine veterinarians to screen for this important hormone in-clinic or in-stable for critical insight into thyroid function and overall metabolic health. Abnormal T4 levels may indicate hypothyroidism or other health conditions in need of intervention.
